Rafael Valero, a genius among folk artists
Today marks 83 years since the birth of Rafael Ángel Valero Moreno in El Potrerito de la Vega de Aracay: violinist, composer of some 250 works, music teacher and woodcarver. His life, in the first of Jesús María Espinoza Marín’s Crónicas del Páramo (in Spanish).
